The noted modular building leader will unveil tech solutions at their April 28th Builders Event

Many of the modern innovations that have helped make modular the premier building choice originated on the shop floors at Simplex.  That commitment to innovation and technology will be front and center as the company celebrates its 46th anniversary with a Builders Only Event at their Scranton, PA facility on April 28th.

“Customers tell us they want more tech options,” said Pat Fricchione, Jr., President of Simplex Industries. “We plan to unveil some very exciting technology tools and options for our Builders this year.”

The Simplex Smart App

First up will be the introduction of an exciting and innovative free new app – The Simplex Smart App.  “This app allows the customer to connect with their builder and Simplex in a way not previously available,” said Dave Mertz, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Simplex.   “By getting closer to the customer and solving their needs early in the process, we feel we can boost sales for our builders with this new app.  For example, by taking advantage of the GPS features in smart phones, customers can find a Simplex-built home near them as well as finding Simplex builders near them. Best of all, despite having many features, it simply could not be easier to use.” Simplex App Developer Rick Rippon will be on hand to provide a demonstration of all The Simplex Smart App features.

Greenfield Remodel With Home Automation System

The recently remodeled Greenfield Home on display at Simplex will be feature new technology at the Builders Event.   “We totally remodeled our Energy Star Greenfield model,” said Pat Fricchione.  “At the center of the project was the installation of a home automation system that is sure to boost sales.”  Home Automotation is among the most requested features by those building a new home.  After extensive study, Simplex went with the Lutron Caseta System that integrates lighting, heating and music via a smartphone app.  According to Pat Fricchione, “The Lutron Caseta System allows us to offer our builders and their customers various levels of home automation depending on needs and budget.  It is the perfect home automation solution.”

The Greenfield II will also feature a new “Open” floor plan, cabinetry and flooring that fit well with today’s building trends.

Tours of all Simplex model homes, a catered lunch, vendor displays, featured speakers and more are also on the schedule.
