Chant is Chairman of Davis R. Chant Realtors, a company he founded in 1964, which includes the operation of five regional real estate office and one branch office that service the Hudson Valley of New York, Northern New Jersey and Northeaster Pennsylvania.

Davis R. Chant Realtors opened its first office in Milford, Pennsylvania in 1964 and over the last 48 years, the Chant firm has been the leader in Northeastern Pennsylvania, in selling country property, including single family residential properties and large residential developments (he was the selling broker to the developers of Mast Hope, Fawn Lake, Tink Wig, part of Hemlock Farms, Conashaugh, Pocono Mountain Lake Forest, Pocono Mountain Water Forest, Gold Key, The Woodlands, Pocono Ranchlands, The Glen & Highland Village at Tamiment) as well as significant commercial developments.

Dave has been active in the National Association of Realtors and the New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania Associations of Realtors as well as regional and Tri-State Economic Development groups. Hes co-founder of the Pike Wayne Board of Realtors and has been President three times since 1970.

Dave Chant has a high level of professional commitment to the real estate profession and as Chant Realtors celebrates its 48th anniversary, he still works six to seven days a week most of the year, and 12 to 15 hour days are a standard modus operandi to achieve a high level of accomplishments for clients and customers of Davis R.
